The Shining Star Center's Vision and Mission is to assist in the creation of personal space and opening of a gateway for an individual's Healing, Growth, and Development of their Mind, Body and Spirit as One -
In a Loving, Supportive, Safe, and Professional Environment. Providing a variety of services using or combining both traditional and alternative philosophies based in , however not limited to, Humanistic, Existential, Multicultural philosophies in counseling, incorporating spiritual and / or religious methodologies: Holistic and / or traditional medicinal treatments, and a broad spectrum of educational resources in the healing of diverse life traumas.
The Shining Star Center's services will assist individuals to explore diverse healing and spiritual modalities with concepts designed to reduce their level of stressor's while working through the healing process.
Further, The Shining Star Center will allow and encourage individuals to fully participate by taking personal initiatives and responsibility for their level of healing, personal growth and development by and through making informed choices of modalities, discerning their own path and pace of healing, and creating a non-threatening environment which increases self-awareness, self-esteem, self-worth, and self-empowerment.
